The French Connection:
French Music and Musical Traditions
June 12 - 27, 2010

Dear Friends,
If we let it, old music can make surprising connections — both emotional and historical — for us, its listeners. The program of this year's Connecticut Early Music Festival makes far-reaching connections across time and space, linking the revolutionary music of Beethoven, the legendary story of Tristan and Isolde, and the timeless music of J.S. Bach with France, a country whose musical culture often receives short shrift in the face of its Germanic counterparts. French music and musical influence produced some exceptionally glorious music; come hear it live with us during the last three weekends in June!
